The Three Graces: Grace that Finds You, Frees You, and Forms You

Current sermon series

The Three Graces is a four-week journey into the heart of God’s transforming love by His grace that finds you, frees you, and forms you. Rooted in the Wesleyan understanding of prevenient, justifying, and sanctifying grace, this series explores how God is at work in every stage of our spiritual lives. Whether you’re just beginning or have walked with Christ for years, discover how grace is still moving toward you and shaping who you are becoming.

  • week 1 - What is grace?

    Scripture: Ephesians 2:1–10
Grace is God’s unearned, initiating love that meets us in our brokenness and gives us new life. Before we ever respond, God is already acting on our behalf by rescuing, restoring, and recreating us. This week sets the foundation for understanding grace as the beginning, middle, and end of our story.

  • Week 2 - Grace that finds you

    Scripture: John 1:9–13
Prevenient grace is God’s love at work before we even know it, drawing us toward Him and awakening our hearts. Long before we seek God, He is already seeking us, offering light and the possibility of new life. This grace reminds us that no one is beyond God’s reach.

  • Week 3 - grace that frees you

    Scripture: Romans 5:1–11
Justifying grace is the moment when God forgives our sin, restores our relationship with Him, and gives us peace through Christ. We are not saved by what we do, but by what God has done for us. This grace frees us from guilt and invites us into a life of hope and reconciliation.

  • week 4 - grace that forms you

    Scripture: Philippians 2:12–13
Sanctifying grace is God’s ongoing work within us, shaping our hearts and lives to reflect Christ. As we respond to God’s presence, He continues to transform us from the inside out. This grace reminds us that salvation is not just a moment; it’s a lifelong journey of becoming who God created us to be.

About Us

Welcome to Chiques

United Methodist Church

We are a community United Methodist Church, striving to live out the Biblical command to love God, and love one another. This means worshiping and following Jesus Christ not only through our words, but also through the lives we lead.

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
